Simply Strings strives to foster musical excellence in string playing through its tuition and professional performance. 

Founded in 2013 by Mair Davies, Simply Strings has cultivated a friendly and encouraging environment for students of all ages and abilities. We are passionate about delivering quality tuition that will be engaging, motivating and, above all, fun. 

Leading by example, Simply Strings has established professional ensembles to meet the needs of any of its clients’ musical occasions. Wedding ceremonies, corporate events, school recitals and any special celebration can all be catered for in a bespoke and personal way.

Mair Davies from Simply Strings got in touch to see if we could record their four String Quartets to create a series of Christmas tracks. It was an absolute pleasure working with Simply Strings to record 6 incredible pieces of music. The whole concept behind Simply Strings is fantastic, giving students the opportunity to perform in String Quartets which I think is truly unique and not something I have heard of before, preparing students for the world post-education.
