The Silent Volunteer
We had the pleasure of working with Avant Cymru to record young actors from Rhondda Cynon Taff and Merthyr, recording the voice-over section for their new production of 'The Silent Volunteer', ready for their R&D sharing.
'The Silent Volunteer' looks at the work of the community and the engineers leading up to the 21st of October 1966, in Aberfan. It talks about the consequences and asks about what can be done in regards to the environmental impact and remaining slag heaps in mining areas around the UK. It questions if everyday people's voices are heard and if they are encouraged to be silent.
