One Man and His Bike

It’s been fantastic to work alongside Penguin Books to produce the audiobook version of the Amazon No 1 best-seller, One Man and His Bike, by the insanely awesome Mike Carter!

It’s been an honour to get to know Mike over the past month who is an author, journalist, and travel writer for the Financial Times and the Guardian. His travels have seen him swimming in Norway with Killer Whales to staying with the Kazakh eagle hunters of Mongolia! Oh, and did I mention he’s also ridden around the entire British coastline?!

“What would happen if you were cycling to the office and just kept on pedalling?

Needing a change, Mike Carter did just that. Following the Thames to the sea he embarked on an epic 5,000-mile ride around the entire British coastline—the equivalent of London to Calcutta.

He encountered drunken priests, drag queens and gnome sanctuaries. He met fellow travellers and people building for a different type of future. He also found a spirit of unbelievable kindness and generosity that convinced him that Britain is anything but broken. This is the inspiring and very funny tale of the five months Mike spent cycling the byways of the nation.”

‘One Man and His Bike’ is available for pre-order through Audible. To find out more information about the release, please click here.
