Allegra Ladies’ Choir

Allegra Ladies’ Choir were looking to record their debut album and after popping along to a rehearsal, we couldn’t wait to get started on the production! With Musical Director Emma Rowland at the helm, Allegra performed entirely to backing tracks - which was something new for us at the time in a choral setting. What it meant though, was a lot of the pieces had super quirky arrangements to go along with them and sounded amazing!

The programme that Allegra recorded included serval of Musical Director Emma’s original compositions, as well as more contemporary tracks like ‘This Is Me’ from the Greatest Showman through to ‘Baba Yetu’ by Christopher Tin which was actually composed for the video game, Civilization IV.

“I spent more than six months working with COBRA Music to make a choir CD and charity music video. The team was professional from start to finish, enthusiastic, accomplished and reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.” Emma Rowland
